Never had a nickname for my X, but just recently I took my wife to Big Bend National Park. I’ve been there several times, but this was her first time. As we just started heading down the back country roads, we got on the subject of nicknames for the X. She started off with “Hoss” but then quickly changed it to “Mule”. I asked her why, and she said because I was always loading the X down with all this equipment and heading down roads that only a mule would travel. Seemed very fitting, and even more so since most all of the back country roads in Big Bend started out as mule paths anyway… So henceforth, my Xterra is known as “Mule”.

Mine has been nicknamed "The Drunk Bus" by my GF cause i am always loading my drunk friends in the back since they can't hold there sh!t down. Maximum drunk people it can hold 10, 4 of which bounce around the trunk since there are no seatbelts.

ok. I finally stopped crying/laughing from reading all the names U all have come up with. Im must say..U all need professional help. (I guess thats y Im here 2).
As 4 me, I named her Tierra. Spanish for land.
PS: Im still trying 2 figure out how U squeezed in 10 people.

I call my X Rocco

"Reason". A friend suggested that, after the gun which is pretty much the star of the last chapters of Neal Stephenson's _Snow Crash_. "Everyone listens to Reason", yadayadayada.

I think it was meant to be some kind of sly dig at my driving style.

Not original, but I refer to mine as "The X" or my truck.

However, my mom, after seeing Episode 3, decided that my 05 X looked like Darth Vader's helmet (she needs help, but I love her). So now, my mom refers to it as Darth. I guess I could combine them and call her Darth X......

When my exhaust rattles, which is now most of the time it gets called "WHAT THE F&CK!?"

It's stupid, but I call mine Pearl. She's black, so black pearl, and my favorite band is Pearl Jam, so it just seemed to fit.

My rig's called "Vader" - it's black and sorta resembles him:

Somebody started calling it the Ectetera and it kinda stuck. I still use the old standby 'the X' often also.

This is kind of an old thread, but I bet there are some new people here that have some nicknames.

I read a lot of these, a lot of funny ones, but not sure why 3 different paople called theirs "bob".

anyways, I didnt name mine, but it has regulrly been called "Mufasa" from the Lion King movie.

Update: I still have Bonnie... the fiance upgraded Sally to a 350Z named Zoe.

OMG 10 pages of nicknames for a truck. I thought only the girlie girlie type of females did this. (And by girlie girlie, I'm not mocking, I'm being only slightly sarcastic, unless you are.....yeh wait, yes, I'm being sarcastic- byebye truckiez! )

As Grayham stated ealier, "my" truck or "your" car. It only varies from these two incredibly complex and long thought-out names when either vehicle is being fussy, like having battery issues, or somethings broken, like the CD player.

Next time we'll break out the BABY NAME BOOK.
