Any tricks for tightening my visors?

If I thought I could sew neatly enough, loop velcro on the headliner (if there's something for it to attach to) and hook velcro on the visor would probably work. Color match at the fabric store.

Did you try tightening the mounting bolts?

Duct tape around thingmajig and push back into bracket

The mounting brackets are fine, it's the aforementioned 'thingmajig' that's the problem.

The duct tape thing might work, but I don't want to make things worse.

I have the same problem with my driver's side visor drooping. I tried cuttng a small piece of velcro and attaching it to the rubber molding of my sunroof and the inside of the visor. It did not work too well. It was fine for holding up the visor, but when I went to pull it down, the velcro adhesive was not strong enough to stick to the the visor fabric and would pull off.

If you do not have a sunroof, I do not know if the roof fabric will provide a strong enough bond for both surfaces.

I might try removing it and squeezing some Silicone glue (Clear) let it dry and reinstall this will cause the joint to be a bit tighter so they do not turn on their own

I replaced my sun rotted visor with one I got from the junk yard and the replacement is droopy!

So I will try to wedge a zip tie to increase friction and if that doesnt work I may try a squirt of hot melt glue in the rod tunnel.

But I am still looking for solutions.
