I couldn't believe this when the dealer service manager told me that they spent a whole day to try to repair the windnshield washer fluid low sensor not illuminating on the dash board, even though you can clearly see the sign on the dash.

He tells me that after hours of searching, they discovered that the Pro-X does not come with a sensor inside the washer tank, and that's why the light does not come on on the dash.

Why would Nissan put the symbol on the dashboard, if they didn't put a sensor inside the water tank?

I tried to look for any mention of this in the OM; couldn't.

Does anyone with a Pro-X have the same problem (or lack of a sensor?)

My 2011 Pro4x lights up the washer symbol when the tank is low.
