Its that time again!

The 12th Annual Pine Barrens Clean-up Run - On Oct 27, 2013 (9:00 AM) SUNDAY....meeting up at the Atsion Ranger Station.

12th ANNUAL PINE BARRENS CLEANUP at WHARTON STATE FOREST




Come and take part in the largest one-day volunteer event at Wharton State Forest in New Jersey. On Oct 27th 2013 at 9:00 AM the 12th annual PINE BARRENS 4 WHEEL DRIVE CLEANUP will begin with a sign up at the Atsion Ranger station.

We had over 400 people attend the 10 anniversary cleanup and Hurricane Sandy made our last one that I missed smaller...but numbers don't count ..it's what we all achieve so be there and make a difference...

We are now soliciting past participants, 4 wheel drive clubs and local and national business’ to contribute time and resources to make this year’s event another overwhelming success.

This as a great opportunity to showcase a partnership for keeping our state lands clean and our right to transverse them unhindered. The rangers and staff at Wharton have embraced us and lend their time and support to help us have a safe and fun time. Terry at the ranger station has been a godsend to us and NOW MORE than ever the state of NJ park and forest system needs our help.

ALSO REMEMBER to bring toys for the disadvantaged kids who live where we wheel..

Brad - I saw your rig, but you were not in it. (At least I think it was you...Hula Dancer on dash?)



I then saw your drive off with another group before I could come over again and say hi!

I was in the deuce and a half all day, as I was asked to jump in to help with some demo'd houses that had been dumped, so my X remained in the parking lot.

We were the only two X's that showed up as far as I could tell, so kudo's for you for showing up.

Yes, that was mine with the hula dancer, saw yours also, hung around a bit, didn't see you. Was on a walking tour with my 17 year old son, a junior mudder, who was in awe over all the rigs. His was the lifted red ZJ with the hula dancer on the dash.

The Deuce looks like one I see every day in Hamilton on Kuser.

Didn't get to the Pic, I had to leave early, we were having company for dinner.

Gonna put shackles on hopefully 2moro & help the boy install a new master cyl. I'm a mechanic @ Princeton BMW & Mini on Rt. 1. Can't go out this wknd., hoping to join up W/Dom & co. next weekend. The boy & friends go out every Sunday, wish I could!

I was going to offer my driveway, etc, if you needed help with the mods, but, you probably have access to a service bay with hydraulic lifts, etc.

Maybe you should ask people to come over there..a good mod day spot.

Would love to, but dealers usually only allow for their employees & immediate families, the insurance fun police have seen to that.
