Looking to upgrade to a better offroad tire that won't puncture easily.

Biggest tire I can fit in a stock pro 4, can I increase size?

285/75/16 is the most common upgrade size.

By "Not Puncture Easily"..that can mean different things...as easily as WHAT?

laugh

It does depend for example on WHAT might be DOING the puncturing...a rock, cactus spines, construction debris, etc...

And, by "Better" off road tire...better than WHAT?

Better than the OEM tires? (Easy enough for that)

By "Off Road" tire, that implies you might have considered the AT on the Pro package to be an off road tire, as that ties back to "Better", etc...

So, that tire that's better off road can be another, but better, All Terrain, or, a dedicated mud, or rock, tire.

What off road stuff do you want the tire to be able to handle?

What happened to the tires you had, etc...?

Some details really help.

285/75/16 is only a wee bit larger than the STOCK 265/75/16 the X can come with.

It fits with no lift, but on SOME X's (2005+) the front wells have a bulge in the plastic well liner that rubs a bit.

If it happens, most just take a blow drier or heat gun, and melt the bulge back out of the way. They call it "The Melt Mod".
