My search for winter tires for my 2009X has brought me to a decent deal for a set of Blizzak DMZ3's. Only thing wrong is that the rims they are on do not come with the TPMS.
For the duration of the winter season, is there any way of turning off the warning light? It is quite anoying to look at for the next 4 or 5 months! Maybe a fuse being pulled temporarily??
Any help appreciated.
I have checked the forums and found nothing that speaks about turning it off, just issues with TPMS.
What about just having the tires mounted on the OEM rims?
Or getting a programmer, and re-setting the PSI?
I hear black electrical tape works to cover the light.
