So I'm new to Xterra's and dont have much experiance with the "normal" SUV world. I've had several Jeeps and needed someting for my family.
Anyways, the question I have is: with a 2" BL and 2" SL and the Revolver Schakles will I be able to clear 285/75R16s? I know they are equivilant to the 33X11.5.
I'm looking at using an AAL and the Revolvers in the rear and a Coil Over with A-Arms in the front. I'll be adding bumpers and other equipment later but I live on a military post and can't drive without a front bumper.

With the 2 inch bl you can fit the 33's. The sl will not help you fit bigger tires it is just for better articulation. The bl will help fit bigger tires. With the 2 in bl some people needed to do alittle trimming and some people didnt.

I just did a 2" BL and a 2" SL, and went with 33x12.5's and I'm rubbing bad up front (only when turning, on the back side of the wheel well, the usual spot). I'm not sure what my next step is, but it's not really drivable the way it is. I'm pretty sure the basice melt mod isn't going to cut it. Any ideas???

1. What year X do you have?

2. What's the backspacing of your rims?

3. If you have a 2005+, you should need no more than a melt mod unless you got too little BS on your rims.

4. If you have a 2004- you need to remove the plastic ledge at the rear of the front wells that the lower mud flaps used to screw into...unless you have too little BS on your rims.

5. If you have too little BS on your rims (Adding spacers deos the same thing, etc...), then you need more room for the tire arc to swing through, and you need to get less BS, or, BFH back the metal parts.

6. You can also adjust the turn stops to reduce the hitting on turns.
