Wow! I just found this post while searching for an answer to a question about wheel spacers.

That would be me that you saw heading South on 35W in Waxahachie. It was actually my wifes X, which has since been traded in for the 2010 White Off-Road she has now. We were headed to my in-laws near College Station if I remember right. And yeah...that would've been meen dozin' in the passenger seat.

The current X does have the sliders and rear bumper off the '08, along with the Shrockworks decals on the rear windows and same license plate. In its current state, it's still on stock suspension, but only for another couple weeks. Then it will get a Calmini 2.5" leveling kit w/ shackles (sitting in the garage awaiting install), 3-leaf add-a-leaf kit, and 33" Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's. Basically the exact same set-up that was on the black '08 you saw.

Funny how we got noticed and never even knew it. My wife got all sorts of compliments on her '08 and I would imagine the 2010 will be no different. Hopefully, though, this one will get wheeled some!
