I think part of signing up should include adding info about your X in your sig. I am not an expert under the hood by any means, but like to add what I can when questions are asked by Members. But when someone registers just to ask a question, and all they say is " I think I might need to replace a belt " and give no more info, it would be nice to know umm, what year, how many miles etc etc.. Its just some simple info that SOO many forget to add, and could save some time for someone that wants to help, so that they dont have to ask for such info. Plus maybe being able to see where they are from would be a plus, think about it, you read their post and have no idea where they are from, or you see where they are from and think , hell they are less than 10 miles from me, I can help them out in person.. ... Just some thoughts.

yeah, that could work too, but think about it, you've been registered for some time now, and yours doesnt say what X you have either, right?

I'm just tring to say how much easier it would be if things were known up front.

I'd even just appreciate listing the year and engine/tranny as a start, but, sure, PML< tires, or whatever is great too.

It would help to avoid those posts where people with 2nd gens being told to adjust their t-bars.
