What a great triple header yesterday. I was stuck working at the hospital all day. We ended up having the game on 4 different TV's in the intensive care unit. Thank god for flat screen lcd's and hockey loving patients. We all cheered on the Maple Leafs, despite our hatred for them, only because our hatred stems farther for the Habs. Islanders/Devils on right now, great game! GO ISLES!

It seems so wrong that the Avs aren't in the playoffs. Good luck to all the teams that made it.

Wow was that ever a great finish for the Islanders. How poetic would it have been for Ryan Smyth to have scored the SO winner, but too bad he missed. Dubi was pretty impressive in net, its too bad Buffalo's gonna smoke them in the first round.

Good luck to all the teams that made it.They fucked up early on in the season by starting that turd, Theodore. That guy sucks hard. If they would have started with Budaj from the beginning, they'd be in the playoffs for sure.

The Flames may not have ended the season on a high note, but they did what they had to stay ahead of the Avs. Winning 6 staight games late in March against teams like the wings, preds, nucks and wild. 4 games on the road and we all know how bad they suck on the road. As they say, it's a whole a new season now, playoffs baby!

If they would have started with Budaj from the beginning, they'd be in the playoffs for sure.[/b]yup, that's absolutely correct. I swear that any time he started, the Avs needed at least 4 goals to win because he automatically gave up 3 a night. I remember talking to my dad in December saying that the Avs were no where near a cup contending team. They were at the end of the season. They went 10-0-2 in the last 12 road games. That's incredible. Their road record was almost identical to their home record, and that's where I think they lost it. Budaj is by no means flashy, but he has the basics down as good as anyone in the league, except for maybe Brodeur and Luongo.

It's about friggin time! LINK In 3 years they'll do the same with Dipietro. I can see signing a player to a long term contract in baseball or basketball but contact sports like football or hockey? No way.

Yes!!! The Bruins fired Lewis!!! -Keenan is the coach in Calagry, someone to crack the whip when they don't score some goals for Kipper. -Samsonov went to Chicago. I love trades and free agent signings!!

Bigger yet... Flyers trade 1 of there 1st round(23) picks to the Predators for the rights to talk to free agents Kimmo Timonen and Scott Hartnell before July 1st when free agents are aloud to sign/talk to other teams. Then they signed both of them to 6 year deals. My Flyers are going to turn it around this year...I hope... I think it is time to start a 07-08 thread.
