Well, that shows How much I've been paying attention to the womens Hockey scene....
Funny, the Women's Beanpot is always after the Men's - like the NCAA Basketball - the womens tourney starts after the men.
Congrats to the women of MN Duluth.
Looks to be another great Frozen Four. Cornell and NH is a good match-up, as is MN and Mich.
Tough call, but I see NH and MN in the final.
I don't know. UNH-Cornell is going to be a game decided by which Goalie makes the most mistakes - and neither Avery (UNH) or LeNeveu (Cornell) make mistakes often.
Heck, LeNeveau outlasted Kaltianen through 5 periods last night to pull out a win. 27 shots - 26 saves. True, BC is not known as a Heavy Shooting team, but they get really quality shots on Goal (Ask BU, Harvard, Northeastern, UMass, UNH, or any other New England team, for that matter....)
Cornell did an awesome job at preventing BC from getting those quality shots, and using their speed to open up more opportunities against Cornell's defense.
I won't even try to predict who's going to win this game...
