Gotta love those dogs!

Go Terriers!!!

Sean Fields has done an awesome job for Boston University this year.

Although (and I hate to say it) Boston College has a really good shot as well. The BC-BU games were real contests this year - I'd love to see another double OT game in the playoffs like in the Beanpot...hopefully with the same result.

Yeah, I've gone to the WCHA Final Five for 3 years now. CC didn't look too good in beating a good Duluth squad, but they looked real good against the Goph's. If it weren't for those 3 quick goals in the 1st, it would've been a much different game. Outshot us by 20 or something...

Good Luck to your squad!

What I wan tto know is how the hell Mercyhurst made the tournament. They came out here for a weekend and lost to DU by 9 one night and then CC beat them by 10 the next. CC is streaky, but they tend to kick ass more than get kicked, but still goals are sometimes a problem for them. I remember one stretch where they were averaging 1.3 a game or something.

Go SCSU Huskies!!!!

Who am I kidding. In all reality, they shouldn't even be there.

God I wish they would fire their coach (Craig Dahl)!!!

Until the they are eliminated, (which shouldn't take long, they play New Hampshire) I will root for the Huskies. After they lose, I switch all allegiance to the Gophers!!

Well, I had posted some picks in antoher thread (no one responded) frown and with the exception of Maine and North Dakota, I did well.

Minnesota is in the Frozen Four, and UNH leads BU currently 1-0

I'll predict Boston University (even though they trail), Boston College and Michigan join Minnesota in the next round.

A BU-BC matchup would be the highlight of the tourney

Go Terriers

My Terriers got beat frown ...and the other Commonwealth Ave team (BC) couldn't overcome Cornell in Double OT. (Awesome game) The disallowed goal in the Third period just stunk.

I would never have though Avery would shut the Terriers out 3 times in a row. eek

Now I don't know who to root for...maybe start looking for the Women's tourney???

Women's tourney was last week. MN-Duluth won it again (3 straight) over Harvard in OT.

Looks to be another great Frozen Four. Cornell and NH is a good match-up, as is MN and Mich.

Tough call, but I see NH and MN in the final.

What the hell is up with these game times? They're at 11:00 and 5:00 (central time)??? I'll miss the first 20 minutes of the MN game before I get to the bar. [Crybaby]

Gee, let's make sure no-one can watch the games!!

Time to set the PVR on the Dish.

Well, that shows How much I've been paying attention to the womens Hockey scene....

Funny, the Women's Beanpot is always after the Men's - like the NCAA Basketball - the womens tourney starts after the men.

Congrats to the women of MN Duluth.

I don't know. UNH-Cornell is going to be a game decided by which Goalie makes the most mistakes - and neither Avery (UNH) or LeNeveu (Cornell) make mistakes often.

Heck, LeNeveau outlasted Kaltianen through 5 periods last night to pull out a win. 27 shots - 26 saves. True, BC is not known as a Heavy Shooting team, but they get really quality shots on Goal (Ask BU, Harvard, Northeastern, UMass, UNH, or any other New England team, for that matter....)

Cornell did an awesome job at preventing BC from getting those quality shots, and using their speed to open up more opportunities against Cornell's defense.

I won't even try to predict who's going to win this game...
