from now on, there will be four BCS bowls and a national championship, so each year one of the stadiums will actually have TWO games in it.

The Fiesta bowl is one of the 4 BCS bowls that will play on Jan. 1 (others are Rose, Sugar, and Orange). The Fiesta has a tie-in with the Big-12 conference, so the winner of the Big-12 will go to the Fiesta if it isn't in the NC game.
The National Championship game will take place one week after the four BCS bowls. The location for that game rotates each year. This year it happens to be at the site of the Fiesta.[/b]WTF?? When did they put this into place?? So now there are going to be 10 BCS teams? I think there are two more teams that Texas needs to lose to get back to the N.C. game this year. Florida and the winner of the Louisville/WV game. I don't see how USC can go the whole year without losing.

This is the first year. It was done largely to appease the mids.

The top two teams go to the new National Championship game, and the next 8 go to the 4 traditional BCS Bowls (Rose, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta). Each of the bowls still has certain tie-ins to the conferences (ie, the Rose is still tied to the Pac-10 and Big-10, if that matchup is possible, and so on). Read all about it here

Not just the Longhorns. The computers are totally fucked up. How the hell is USC #1, Michigan #2 and OSU #3?? lets hope it doesn't stay that way or there's going to be a riot throughout the country.

Unless, of course, you're just talking about the "computer average" which doesn't mean AS much anymore (thank God). lets hope it doesn't stay that way or there's going to be a riot throughout the country. Since I don't think there would actually be a riot throughout the country if it's screwed up, I'm wishing for the biggest mess up possible. The worse the BCS looks, the better.

The only real possibility of change will occur is if a major conference constantly gets screwed out of the BCS title... both of the premier undefeated Big East teams (WVA and UL) and nearly every top SEC team (Florida, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee) are starting to gripe about how they will never get a shot at the title... money talks. Here's a pretty good article in the Louisville Courier-Journal... http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs...405/1002/SPORTS

I just hope the UT vs. Tech game is a good game and they don't embarrass us like last year. Then again, it is a gubernatorial year and we have beat UT on that year for the past 14 years, so there's one thing to be hopeful for.
