Thought that Iowa might pull the upset on Wisconsin. How about Florida almost tanking! Happy that Michigan punked Penn State.

Louisville did play Syracuse! Yeah, well, we had over 700 yards of offense... and lost!

Coach Fran\'s $1200 Secret Newsletter What an ass. This story, if true, makes me hate him even more now... What, $2 million per year isn't enough for you? If Fran spent less time writing $1200 newsletters and more time preparing his team properly, maybe A&M wouldn't be as mediocre as it is now... sigh.

Well, fuck. That's about as close as you can get to winning a game without actually winning. Too many mistakes against the soon to be #4 team in the country. Hopefully the pollsters are kind to us. 500 yards of offense and 24 fucking points. Fuck. PS - lmao at OU.

Even though UW has been a major suck-fest the last few years, winning in Seattle is never easy. SC stays at 1, Cal should go up to 3-4, and Oregon shouldn't drop past 14-15, given that they outplayed Cal most of that game. Arizona State will probably move into the top 20, and UCLA may squeak into the top 25

Well, we had a tough game yesterday. I know it was only a 1AA team, but our defense already showed improvement just by the way they played - tackling and mixing it up. However, we won't know for sure if it's working or not until next week. Oh, and yet another big game for Crabs. At least we're tied with UT and OU again.

What the hell is going on man!? Kentucky is five and oh baby! (ok ok so we still have to play S. Carolina, LSU and Florida... but hey I'm enjoying the ride!) Ranked #8 in the country! That's our first top ten ranking since 1977!

Given that Iowa State is only slightly better than Northwestern State, I don't think you can tell much based on that game either. Who came up with your schedule, anyway? As I look over it, I can't help but wonder how good the Ducks would look if they played that schedule.

You forgot to include the part where I acknowledged it was an 1AA opponent. But that has nothing to do with what I was saying. Before, we would play boring 10 yards off the ball. Now, we're finally mixing things up with blitzing, fake blitzing, etc. That's the type of stuff we were looking for and really the only thing we could take from a game like that. But yeah, no one's saying anything about the results as we won't know anything until we play real competition. (Although I wonder how their offense compares to Rice who was able to move the ball at will against us in the first half. ) Who came up with your schedule, anyway? As I look over it, I can't help but wonder how good the Ducks would look if they played that schedule. Not sure, but having the toughest schedule in the nation in '02 probably made us realize this system sucks and we don't need to play any ranked opponents anymore unless it's someone typically over-rated like TCU. SMU and UTEP were left over games from last year and Rice was to finally tap into the Houston market. And, I guess everyone is scheduling a DivII team these days. If you want to know how Oregon would do, UofH is like UTEP and Fresno State is like SMU.

Made the big road trip to Minnesota this past weekend. A nice win for Ohio State before the toughest part of the schedule. Three night games on the road in four weeks. LSU looks like the team to beat after stepping up in the second half of their game. However Florida will be a tough fight after their loss.

Florida's offense is solid but one dimensional and their defense isn't as solid as last years.(yet) I think the Bayou Bengals are going to be making Gator Gumbo Saturday night.
Go Bucks!

Hope you guys had fun... sigh. Kentucky came crashing back to Earth after this loss... SC did a great job of blitzing Woodson such that those two fumbles were essentially the difference in the game... too many UK mistakes and a great SC defense = UK loss, SC win. so much for the week basking in top ten glory...
