Fuck. Everyone is finally learning that a 11-1-1 finish with one player against the worst division in hockey (Caps) really doesn't mean as much as a 7-1-1 finish against arguably the toughest division in hockey. (Flyers) When all the media predictions came about for this series I was shocked that people were picking the Caps. The Flyers are simply deeper. Arguably the deepest team at forward in the NHL, and that is without Gagne. They have questions on defense and goal but so does most teams. Ovechkin has disappeared so far. And the difference is that his team doesn't have anyone else who looks like they want to step up.

Ovechkin has disappeared so far. He has not disappeared. Timonen just makes him look like an ordinary hockey player. Flyers are heathier than they have been all year. Just in time for a run at the cup.

Damn that sucks. Makes things easier for the Pens though. I am willing to be the game gets pretty ugly on Thursday. To the best of my knowledge I don't think any team has ever swept the playoffs. Could be a first but I don't wanna jinx it. Oh yeah,
GETTING TICKETS FOR A SERIES 3 GAME FROM MY FRIEND!! I'm so pumped.

So the Rangers played some desperate, and at times, down right dirty hockey last night to beat out the Pens. I don't think they'll win the next one in Pittsburgh though. Anyone watch the Red Wings game? freaking insanity!!

I know how bad it feels when your team goes down. The Avs were pretty banged up though. They'll be back.
