My front end squeaks whenever I go over bumps. I got a 2001 4wd. do i need to replace something or a simple lube job...and if a lube job, any guidelines, tips. Thanks

For what it's worth I spent about 2 hours under my X lubing, driving, and then re-lubing various suspension parts with no luck. Checked out a few posts, tried a few things, and at least in my case it turned out to be the hood latch. Would have bet $$ that the noise was coming from either the coil assembly or A arms under the vehicle, particularly the driver side wheel well... oh well, live and learn - adjusted the stops out 1/4 turn and put some bearing grease on the 'hook' on the hood and no more problem.
