This has been covered before but not in too much detail so I'm giving it another shot.. I'm sound deadening my car and I want to deaden the ceiling. This will obviously require me to drop the headliner. Now many people have said to avoid this if possible, but what I'm really looking for is advice from somebody who has done it before. I want to make sure that I do it right and do it carefully. So removal as well as reinstallation tips would be really great. Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be that big a deal... It looks like you just remove all the plastic interior pieces around the sides that hold it up.

The trick is just figuring out all the creative clips and things that Nissan used to tack the interior together with (i.e. you have to know when to remove that secret clip or screw and when you just have to grab ahold and yank).

I do know that once you remove the "oh shit" handle, the A-pillar cover can be just yanked off (I managed to smack myself in the nose with mine when it finally came off shocked ). The thing with the map lights in it also just pulls down (held up by two springy metal pieces)
