Seems to be 'The' thing to do right now for a bunch of my past & present colleagues. Feel free to add me - I also created a 'Xterra Owners Club' group on there for us all.

I just checked, and I've been on LinkedIn for 4 years. I really should update my profile.

I've heard coworkers talk about it lately.

I know this is XOC so we crap on everything, but it seems like a "myspace" for professionals if you ask me. The whole 'better job offers actually extended vs. actual time spent adding friends, etc' ratio seems grossly out of whack.

Pretty vapid way to network if you ask me.

I'm LinkedIn too. I got an invite a year ago from a former coworker. I didn't put much effort into it until this past month when I went into job search high gear. I'm not that "linked" with my degrees of seperation, but my profile is updated with my resume key points so if by chance someone gives me an offer then it would be time well spent.

Coworker of mine said, "I want to be LinkedOUT!"
