Drag the applications you don't want to the trash. That's it.
Lastly, how do I get the iMac online?
What kind of iMac is it? Fruity colored? Hair Dryer like? All-in-one flat panel?
What OS is it running? Under the Apple menu pick "About this Mac". Is it running OSX? If so, what version? (all three numbers)
Click on the More Info button if it's OS X and the Apple System Profiler will launch. Under the Network section, do you see an Airport card listed? Click on it and make sure you see some stats for the card to verify it actually has a wireless networking card.
If it does, then use
this technote and look under the
AirPort client to third-party base station section to connect to your existing wireless network.
