I normally stay out of such debates....but I will partake just a bit here, because I do disagree with some of the above sentiments.

A basic principle of the Christian faith, allbeit a rather illogical one given man's nature, is the need to not judge others. To be judgemental is, in fact, in the prescripts of Christian belief, a hypocritical act.

Also, the simple act of attending regular religious services does not deem one superior. Granted, your faith does obviously extend beyond simple service attendance. However, many people maintain a faith important to them, without the inherant need to take part in a socialized religious experience. It has been, in my life, religion is a very personal path to travel, not one dictated by any particular denomination or translation. A personalization instilled in me by my Episcopal priest grandfather, who told me before dying to determine what I would need my faith to be, and study and learn all aspects of my experience, thereby devining my personal comfort level with it.

Don't be so judgemental of others. It is easy to do in a forum such as this. But eventually, you are only going to serve to devalue the very Christian ethics you intend to evoke.

Very very true. I try to refrain, but I am the first to admit I am very judgemental. Very! I do not walk on water. I will sin from now until death. I will commit the same sin again, I am sure. We Christians don't claim to be perfect, people who are against us attempt to force feed that philosophy down the throats of those caught on the fence.
