Anyone care to comment on limited slip versus non-LS for off-road use on a 4x2 X?
Looking forward to doing some light off-roading with my 4x2. Like many others I've run across on this board, financial reasons dictated that I end up with a 4x2.
Not planning on tackling the best that Moab has to offer, crossing deep streams, running in thick mud or sand or trying to climb boulder-strewn trails.
I figure with the numerically high rear-end on these things, along with my 5-speed and LS diff, I should be able to mount a few more obstacles than a similar vehicle without limited slip.
Opinions? (Also, I realize that tire choice plays a big factor when talking 4x2 off-roading).
