Hi 2wd forum! I just joined the XOC.
I've had my truck since about this time in 1999!
The only problem I have is a slow rolling driver's side window. I had it fixed under warranty a few years back but I don't think they did much of anything. Anyone else have that happen? I guess it's a loose regulator?

[Wave] welcome...no problems here with the window regulators...but if you go to the "Problems and Annoyances" forum, they have some recent topics on this very same problem...

The evil regulator, yeah, I had mine pop on me on the road one day, called Nissan told them I was coming in, got it in the shop and fixed under warrenty in under an hour.

Ok, your problem may not be the regulator though, ive noticed that when having on the radio and more than one window down and rolling them up at the same time, all windows will lag especially the driver side. I have only noticed this problem with the Xterra though.

Thanks for the tips. Also thanks to the moderator for deleting my double post-I tried to do it myself but...

I saw a commercial for the Nissan dealership in the valley (Universal Nissan? It's the one near Lankershim). They are having a blowout on HAIL DAMAGED nissans! Up to $10,000 off brand new Xterras! Normally millions of divots would be aconcern but the way some of you thrash about, I guess it wouldn't be a bother at all!
You have to call a 1-800 # to make an appt.
sorry, maybe someone else caught it.

They had a terrible hail storm a few months back at the Nissan plant - lost the entire inventory that was parked outside frown So hail damaged Xterra's should be pleantiful.

Never thought about getting one as the perfect off-road only vehicle smile Hmm, there may be a second Xterra in my near future smile

Perfect for the golfer. "Tiger Woods is a spokesman for Buick... he was practicing from 300 yards and used by X as a target at the Bel Aire Country Club"... yea... yea... that's it...

Edited to change Oldsmobile to Buick [Uh Oh !]

I called them an talked to Myriam. The up to is a keyword. What they have on the lot is all that they will get. They have various models and carry 4x2's and the more rare 4x4's. If the mood strikes I may call them an make an appointment before I get off work tommorrrow... on my drive back from work in Bakersfield.

Number is 1-866-361-4444.

Thanks but I don't like putting stickers on my truck. Thanks tho.
Yeah, I see alot of Xterras around. There is a green one I see alot. It is the older style with square lights like mine. Anyway, it still looks good for a 4 year old design doesn't it! Hasn't aged a bit.
