Yeah so it is 9 months after the trip, but hey I just figured out how to use Movie Maker. It's my first movie so tell me what you think!

Movie is about 4:40 long

Small
5.7 MB (kinda crappy resolution and sound)
http://superjens.com/xterra/planttour2001.WMV

Large
17.8 MB (best resolution and sound)
http://superjens.com/xterra/bigplanttour01b.WMV

Next lesson converting video to AVI and MPEG!

Good job getting it done! Lots and lots of Xs! Looks like you guys took over the road, parking lots, the town. No footage of the Xs at the camp site? frown

Getting the first video done takes a bit of time, working out the quirks, etc. Next time you will have a better idea of what things work well. What were your settings? UXOC videos have been 15 fps, 320x240, mono, wmv (best compression yet) and around 1 hr per minute (capturing and editting).

Keep up the good work!

Robert

Great video. Very entertaining with the music as well. I'd say you couldn't do better for a first time. Has it really been 9 months? Man, it seems just like yesterday we were there. I just can't believe there are so many people that love their X as much as I do!!!

very cool man. stp music is a wee bit too loud to my ears. i would have used stevie ray in the body cause it's instrumental. it would have been nice to hear the cb chatter but the music drowns it out. great first effort though!!

I kinda thought the musuc fit well for 2 reasons.

1. it was in the SC Frontier comercial

2. You could say the Xterra plant is "the wicked garden" the garden where Xterras grow! and we went on a tour of it, so we wanted to run through the wicked garden!

I thought I had set it so the video audio track would be louder than the music, but I guess that change got lost one one of the many times the program froze.
