Actually I keep procrastinating... I have a few more xcursions that I have to buckle down on an edit. I have 12 hours of tape from a 2 day Mojave Road xcursion! I need to edit this down to 10-15 minutes. As will as 10 hours from this years annual SCCX/NCCX trip (CALX2). I have a lowband version of last years CALX1 on my website...only one camera due to technical difficults with my switcher.

I have finally got around to getting my website up and running. Check it out at WWW.4XTERRA.TV

When I finish editing the other videos...then they will be included on my TV site.

Once again..thank you for the compliment...it really cheered me up After having personal vendetta's leveled at me in past months as well as a ONE rating on XOC ...it is great to have a positive response toward my work.

Wow man fantastic job especially the mud shots. If you could get a monitor in the cabin hooked up to that camera you could get some insanely good tire placement from now on.

Now that I have a high speed internet connection I can go in and look at this stuff. Great video. I enjoyed watching it. Did you waste the camera in the mud?

Have you tried my dial-up versions ?
Just curious how those work for people(i.e. how long does it take to downlaod with a 56k modem) ?
Camera is fine . I have pretty much water proofed them .
Next I need a secondary mic mounted out of the way of water. Water proofing the camera also sound proofs it.

Xtoolbox, what kind of mounts are you using to mount the cameras?

I've come up with a neat way to bolt up a regular ball or pan/tilt tripod head to the truck, but I get a decent amount of vibration...

I'm going to play with the mount some more, and I recently added some rubber washers to help dampen the vibration, but haven't tested it yet.

I'm curious too, though - how you mounted them to the SIDE of the truck... Cuz we all dig the "tire cam" don't ya know!
