Well now we know what happens when a Titan and a Xterra are left alone for a while.

The front is a little too familiar looking but other than that it is still a bad ass looking truck

Now we need to see the interior. I like it, but it doesn't excite me like the new Frontier, that is a complete redesign. The front end (only major change) does look good and follows suit with the trucks/SUV's from Nissan. I like the wheels and the side moulding looks lower, which may or may not matter. It does look like it's missing something with the step rails gone. But all in all I give it

The fog lights look almost like projector beams?
And the hood looks a little less defined at the 02+. So what is so powerful about it?

And did anyone notice the Rugged Trail T/As on it.... does this mean no more General Crapper (or did they stop that already with the 04s?)??

So does that mean that the roof basket is now enclosed and possibly lockable?

I wonder what the weight limit on those rear steps is?

I think the General Grabbers came on the XE and SE had BFG, maybe all lines will be BFG now.

I will keep my '02. That is hideous. The front end looks like the Nissan Patrols. It doesn't have the nerfbars either. Nothing outdoorsy about that compared to the '04 and earlier. What is the hp?

I just keeping telling myself that the front end will becovered/removed with a calmini bumper and a warn winch. Most of the bling will be hidden.

Gas tank has been moved to the driver side.

I heard that Nissan is trying to make the front ends of all their trucks similar, so that they are easily recognized and identified as being Nissan. That is why it looks so much like the Titan and Frontier.

where did you get that the gas tank has been moved to the driver side. I can't tell by the picture.

I don't see it either.. Though it's preferable, personally, it's not a HUGE deal.

Notice the front door handles? They seem to be more of the "industrial refrigarator" type.

So far, I think Nissan has ANOTHER winnar on their hands. Ever since the first X, they have been on a roll, I must say. Xterra, Altima, Z, Maxima, Titan, Frontier, now the new X. I like it.

I don't care for the front end. I am one of those people that like the ROUND headlights.

I like a distinctive front end so the X stands out from the other Nissan trucks. But a ne bumber would accomplish that.

The engine upgrade is a definite PLUS
