Love my X-OR, but feeling closed in w/o a sunroof. Anyone explored putting one in the '05? Mechanics/logistics?

If you removed the basket and lid I don't see any reason you couldn't put an aftermarket sun roof in. Just remember, make sure you get it professionally installed, I have seen way too many aftermarket roofs leak.

But love the basket/lid! Could it be moved into the middle with just the Xterra shield/signage left intact on the front part? I will find out and follow up with a post ....

That would be wicked...even better would be a rag top in the back instead. Having it slide across and beneath the bars on the roof.

Sorta like the Nissan concept for the 02 Frontier. Called the Frontier Sky. It had a power ragtop. Don't know why it was scrapped.
