Great!
Someone started this before me. smile
I'm still in the planning/research phase.

My biggest problem right now is how to fit the front vertical bars by the dashboard without hacking up the dash too much or killing all legroom.

What do you plan on doing about that?

And are you doing bars over the back seats into the cargo area as well?

And what size and type pipe (or tube) are you using?

Any info is greatly appreciated. [ThumbsUp]

Yes, the A-pillar where there is a vent, the dash sticks out a ton and there is little leg room to begin with.
Are you just hacking up the dash and recessing the pipe?
Or are you losing the doors in order to clear the bars?

And what pipe (or tube) size are you using?

That's great that you're using software but it didn't answer my questions.
AutoCAD. [Freak]

This is a gallery of the build up of the XterraRacer. http://www.teamxterraracing.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=7

Feel free to PM Xterraracer with any questions on how he put it all together.

For racing, this works very well!

I take it you are not putting your interior back in?

Second, are you reenforcing the floorplate from underneath or just welding it to the floor?

Thanks,
S.
