Nissan is hosting you guys this year on Saturday, June 12....they'll give a
special goodie bag to all Owners and buy lunch!!!!

We will host the "Best of Show" contest again - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
trophies....everyone will get an event t-shirt and we'll be happy to give a
complimentary entry to those who wish to race in either the full distance or
half distance Xterra event on Sunday.

We have a new attraction for kids this year - the Nissan Kids Base Camp -
which will include - Kids Sprint, Shimano Youth Series Bike Race, Special
Challenge Course, Bike Safety Clinic, Bike Skills Course....participation is
free - and every child gets a prize and a medal!

We will be sending a formal invitation (any minute now!!!!). So round up
the troops - Nissan's going to make it worthwhile for everyone to make the
trip...and your friends at TEAM Unlimited will too.

How do I go about getting an invitation if I live in Richmond?

No invite is needed, just show up at Brown's Island Saturday morning the 12th, at like 6-7am. Not sure on the time yet. There may be a meeting spot where we will all ride to Brown's Island together.

That's what we did last year. Was nice being able to caravan down as a group together.

Anyone want to name a spot?

Keep an eye on the ENCXC Message Board . We'll try to post more info as it becomes available. We have been keeping in contact with Jan with TEAM Unlimited. As the date gets closer we'll need to know an exact vehicle count so we can let them know. I think the record attendance for the show is 18 which is currently held my the folks on the left coast. I'd like to see us beat there record this year. We had 14 total last year.

We are trying to line up a police escort thru town to Brown's Island. Also, I'm trying to figure out where everyone is staying. Or have any recommendations?

Also, was wondering if I could get everyone that is planning to attend to drop me an e-mail (green_x_2000@yahoo.com) and let me know where you are stayin' and when you plan to arrive to Richmond.

By no means am I trying to run this show, just trying to get some hard numbers for Janet.

I'll be heading out of Alexandria, VA for the day on the 12th. If anyone else wants to plan a caravan from here, or if you are passing via 95 from the north, let me know.

I'll be hitting 95 @234 and then going south EARLY the 12th...

We will more then likly be heading up that way Friday nite after work sometime. Not sure if we will be hitting 85 or 95.

Man... Think we will have a big group this year. We got 12 trucks so far coming up from the south. Anybody got a head count for the people local to Richmond or people coming in from the north??

I've heard of at least 4 including myself, from NOVA, VA Beach, and Richmond. I'm sure that there will be a few more.

Mine is the blue furtherest to the right.

We are stayin' in the Microtel near the Airport. It is the same place we stayed for the past 2 years.

Last year we met a bunch of you at a parking lot down the road from the hotel and we all caravaned in.

Do we want to do this again???

Think we are going to try and get to the island by 8 a.m. If we all meet, should try and meet by 7 a.m.

I'm going to try really hard to get there. I'm going to be in Ocean Isle NC the week prior so I can sorta justify it as being on the way home. I really hope see meet up with everyone!

Less than a week and counting. We still need to get a solid head count. And for any locals, I think it would be cool if we could all meet somewhere close to the island and go in as a group. We really turned some heads last year going in like that. Think it would also be easier on the officials for us to show up at one time. Looking forward to seeing the folks from last year and meeting some new ones.
