I've checked Tokico's web page and liked what I read. But, then I started reading the posts here about the Bilstein's. And I saw a post that mentioned the Tokico's might be Pathfinder/Frontier versions.

Now I'm not sure which one to go with?

From the other posts I've seen, I'm thinking I'll get a lot of Bilstein support in the replies. And that's good. But I guess I'm really wanting to hear for Tokico owners.

Has anyone had a chance to compare the two?

Anyone have the Tokico Trek Master R/T's?
If so, care to comment?

I've seen the prices for the Bilsteins in postings. Anyone know the Tokico prices?

Thanks,
Randy

if you get any info out of Tokico I'd be interested in your findings. I feel they could at least have an email address on their site. that would get them a lot more interested parties. I just hate calling these companies for info easily supplied by some cut and paste and an email program.

Update: I called Tokico today and the suggested price for the Xterra Trek Master R/Ts is $69.95 each (front and rear).

They told me AutoTrend of Long Island,NY is the closest dealer and gave me there number (631-957-3901). I'll call and check prices and avalibility.

Later...

Overlander.com was selling "Xterra" Tokico shocks before Tokico had released an X-specific model. That was a couple of months ago. You might want to double-check the part number of the ones you get to be sure they're the correct ones, no matter where you get them.

Desipenny - Great! I'd like to hear how the install went and how the ride is. I've read some other posts about how the Bilstein shocks are and everything was positive.

If anyone else has any updates on their Bilstein experience, especially if you've driven on them for a few months, please post. Thanks!
