Here is a question for some giant brains. Are the Calmini tie rod adjusting sleeves the same length as the stock ones? I have a set with some tie rods on them and was going to install them on a stock type centerlink and steering set up.

Thanks in advance.

They are a bit longer but will probably still work.

The Calmini Tie Rod adjusters will not work with the Stock Steering - they are too big.
I know from experience.

Is the calmini center link shorter or something? I dont get why it would be able to use longer tie rod adjusters.

When you say too big...are they too long or too big around?

they are too long. the thread pitch and diameter is the same. because of them being longer you would not be able to make the tie rod assemblies short enough and the truck would have too much toe out.

Calmini's steering connects the inner tie rod ends to the pitman and idler arms, not to the centerlink. As Calmini curved the ends of the idler and pitman arms towards the frame, the TRA's have to be longer to get the inner TRE's to attach.
