Are there any 2" suspension lifts available for the Xterra? I have only seen 3" lifts available. Would I have to buy new extended driveshafts for a lift? What is a good tire-size to fit on a 2" lifted Xterra, I don't want to lose that much power and I don't want to spend the xtra $$$ on new gearing? thanks.

Rear shackles are about 2" ($50 at SLR). If you give the torsion bar adjusting bolts a few turns should get you up in the front (up to you how much but I wouldn't go too high without high angle a-arms).
A very inexpensive 2" lift. You may need an allignment after you do it.
I sure if you search, you will find more than enough info on this. wink

Go with rear add a leafs than longer shackles, the add aleafs will not only raise the back end of your truck...they will make the ride better, handle a bit more payload without sagging and extend the life of your springpack...all for about the same cost as the shackles. You do need to run longer shocks but for the shackles you do as well.

BTW, 32X10.50X15's will fit on a stock Xterra with a little mudflap trimming and torsion adjustment

ok, If I raise the truck 2" without extending my shocks wouldn't I lose 2" of down traval and gain 2" of up-travel? Where is a good place to get longer shocks? Also, for the front torsion bars, couldn't I just buy some already made for the lift? Because if I do the bolt thing, the torsion bar would lose some of their strength, right? Are there any companies that make a coil spring conversion to replace the leaf-springs? thanks.
