So far, Calmini is the only company that is coming out with a lift for the 05 and it is going to be 5"..... Calmini For other information, check out Manufacturer's Row and the 2005 Xterra Forums...

The fringed look went out in the 70's...but if you are willing to trade big threads for big treads, its doable. Assuming you actually need the ground clearance and traction you would get with a lift and large agggressive tires...and that street driving ability is a low priority, and you are perfectly willling to drive like a little old lady on road to be able to kick ass off road.... Your options depend upon the terrain you are planning to assault....you'd do it a bit differently for each type... Are you mostly a mud bogger, mostly a dune jumper, or mostly a rock crawler?

Note he is driving a piece of wood (2x4) so I doubt off roading is a priority.

i had a guy here at the 4wheelparts here in town call a few guys and they all said they would have stuff after SEMA (nov).
btw, fabtech currently has one for the titan so that is encouraging. they make pretty good systems for jeeps and fullsized trucks.
