The extended Rancho's don't seem to compress enough for a PML'd X...the extended Bils are a better choice.
And - the logic is backwards to start with on the t-bars...if its too stiff, stiffening it will not make it less stiff.
The point about the bumpstop clearance is probably correct...you should have atleast 1/2" - 3/4" of clearance...or it will ride like shit.
The 1" shackles only lift you 1/2" (SLR and AC's nomenclature), whereas the Calmini 1.5" lift shackles lift you 1.5" (Calmini's nomenclature).
If you wanted to be 1/2" lower than you were with the 1.5" shackle, you'd need to go DOWN to a 2" shackle, to get 1" of lift instead of 1.5" of lift.
Honest.
As far as I know, Calmini has the only ~ 6" eye to eye lift shackle, so it gives ~ 1.5" of lift over the ~ 3" eye to eye OEM shackles.
SLR and AC have only 1" and 2" shackles, meaning about 4" and 5" eye to eye, or only 1/2" or 1" of actual lift over stock.
If you need to get those t-bars "Back into Range" - all you have to do is re-index them....that's exactly what re-indexing is for.
Hope that clarifies things a bit.
