Anybody out there have a good closeup picture of these bars? I just got a set and they were run through a lathe to adjust their diameter, I think. They have a spiral grove all along them. One goes all the way from one end to the other and the other looks like it was started from each end until it met in the middle. Didn't meet exactly right in the middle and there's a slight offset, like an uneven ridge around the center of the bar. Just wondering if this is normal or a rush job that will fail on me. Opinions? I know you have them. :p

Are they painted? I have a set of SLR bars, but don't recall any machining marks left on the the bars, but I guess paint could have covered mine up.
