I just got a 2002 X SE, Automatic...no hitch. Some of my family members own RV's. I am interested in getting a pull trailer, but I dont know what to be looking at...do I look at dry weight of the camper? Also, if I added helper springs, would this be beneficial to me?
I know this is the suspension section, not the camping one, but it is suspension if you look at it..

Ive been pulling a popup camper for around a year now. Camper weighs in about 1800lbs. I have an 04 5spd. I also dont have the frame stiffeners mounted with the hitch. So far, no problems with frame twist. If you pulling a camper/trailer, you will definately feel it. The X is way under powered. The 05's have around 80 more HP so I dont think it will be much of a problem.
