Tuesday, on Hell's Revenge after we stopped for lunch. A short way up the trail, just before Tip over Challenge was an obstacle off to the right called Escalator. A yellow Toyota truck with a tube frame had gone up it, then back down. He then drove off trail and across soil and plants to get ahead of the group of Jeeps in front of us.

If anyone has any pictures or video with the Toyota in them (not obeying Tread Lightly principles), I would appreciate getting them.

I recall AP snapping a few of this tube, perhaps he has some vid/photos of his careless treading all over the place very quickly

There is a picture of the truck. It contains LAxterra at one of the tubs. Unfortunately, it does not show his front plate. (he did not have one). I think he was with the San Diego Group.

I have been trying to find the picture. I DID see the yellow truck drive over every obstacle, regardless of whether it was part of the trail.

I don't think you understand. The guy already admitted that he was there, and we already know his name. He doesn't deny the fact that he was there that day nor does he deny the fact that he was "taking a short cut". but his "reasoning" is that it was a little used trail. What I believe Ian is looking for is a photo/video of him driving across the fragile soil.

I was equally flabbergasted as I watched several guys on large quads bully their way through their woods to bypass us on the trail in Uwharrie last November. They were riding down 3" thick trees...

Just for kicks I went to the XOC forum to try and find out from his posts what Ian is like(very slow night at work).

I wasn't at on the trail during the incident but I was there that night when we were all watching videos of Hell's Revenge.

As soon as the part with the Xterra and the Toyota in question showed up everybody went off about what a retard he was to drive over the cryptobiotic soil.

I belive what they've been saying all along. It wasn't made up after because they were jealous or his ride.
There was serious anger at Chris for blatently disregarding the Tread Lightly rules.
