Anybody New Attending?

I notice that most of the people attending this year have been to goneMOAB before. Is there anyone with an X who hasn't been there other than myself? My plan is to take my stock X and follow Jorge from NJAX out to goneMOAB. I only have 31's with no suspension mods. Hopefully I should have the sliders on by then. Will there be anyone else stock at goneMOAB or my question rephrased is, has anyone stock made it through the whole week? I saw some of the videos at Moab and it looks awesome.
Thanks -RJ

I wish I could...I just got my ProComp 31" tires put on a couple of weeks ago and I'm dying to use them! I just got engaged, so there are other things that take precedence right now.....Maybe next year!

Im a FNG to gone, and my X is pretty much stock, there are a few mods I have done. Pretty much shit I broke while wheeling before, ie step rails got fucked = calmini sliders, front bumper, fucked=ARB, SLR 2'' rear shakles, well just for the fuck of it and a few other minor things.
I put this question to Ian, and for the most part him and several other "vets" to gone said a stock ride should be ok. Common sence and a good spotter is what I was told are your best mods on the trail.
hope to see you there.

RJ,
The history of stock trucks is short in Moab. I was stock (with sliders) my first trip to Moab. The addiction to modifications begins soon thereafter. I did not even have 31" tires the first time. We went one thanksgiving weekend and had a good time. Each time I go back, I am thousands poorer.
Check out Apwired website of photos.
Look forward to meeting all the first timers.
Todd

Thanks Todd.....that apwired site has some great photos from Moab. I don't think I should have problems with just 31's and I am still waiting delivery on my shrock bars. Jim says he will have them for me before I leave NJ to Moab. After looking at some of the photos from Moab, it seams like most of the wheelin has no need for 4x4 unless you are up or down the rock walls. Are a lot of you guys constantly in and out of 4 hi 4 lo in Moab? I hate to burn out the gears for all the wrong reasons. It's gonna be a long push home for me if I do the wrong thing. I guess my best bet would be is to listen to those who have been there and done that.
Thanks -RJ

Looking forward to some outdoor fun.

I've signed up twice, but just in case:
There are only 2 coming from AZXC now- me and DBAX. We're heading out of Phoenix on the 2nd and leaving Moab on Friday.
Yeah baby!

I never got either one of them... I only show DBAX coming from AZ. You signed up here ? http://www.gonemoab.com/signup.html Joining a goneMOAB forum Usergroup is not the signup (and you are on the second page of that). Due to the number of people who said they were coming, then failed to signup, or said they wanted shirts in the forum, but then didn't order, I had extra shirts printed.

I've signed up twice but now I'm not sure if I'm on the list. And when is Pizza Night? And is the Calmini Customer Appreiation run the Golden Spike run?
