By popular demand, we've added outer headlight protection to our NP62450 & NP62451 winch bumpers for 2000-2003 Xterras as standard equipment.

They will still be available without headlight bars by special order only. Also pictured is our new optional add-on light bar. Holds 2 full size driving lights. It is retrofittable to all of our previous model bumpers with minor drilling. More details soon.

Now if you could just add some round holes and cups to each side for some maybe 5-1/4" round lights it would be perfect! Might even get me to think about making the switch!

I am pissed off now, what a way to ruin my day I've had my calmini bumper for about 4 months and now you come out with this. I could not decide originally if i wanted the ARB or the calmini. I talk to one of your guys on the phone about the headlight guards and he told me that there was no plans in the works for this. He even recommended that I e-mail you with my opininion on design enhancements so i did. I even got a response reiterrating what we discussed on the phone. What solution do you have for those of us who have your old style bumper and want the improvments, at no to minimal additional cost.

Hey Carlton, who was talking to you, you have no idea what communication I have had with Calmin or what was discussed, so keep your less tha 2 cents to yourself.

If Calmini was holding that info about the up coming bumper then I am sure they had a good reason. Or perhaps... They did not think about doing it 4 months ago when you got your bumper.

Quit you whining and get over it. So they decided to change a product, it happens every day from just about all vendors.

I admit it looks good, and I am considering it. Just waiting to see what ARB is considering as a "retooling" of their bumper. The headlight guards was always one of the things I wished for, and the lightbar, was the second.

Can there be a picture of it on a 2002 posted? The lines for the headlights guards kinda look like they fit the 2001 body style more than the round 2002 headlight style.

I just got off the phone with Calmini. They won't be ready to ship for a few weeks and then only the 2000-2001. They are still working out the design for the 2002-2003, and will come out after the 00-01

I am also so mad. I got my arb bumper 2 years ago because calmini did not have a bumper option out. First I didn't care cuz I liked the bar over the lights look of the arb. Now they bring out this new one and it is just not fair. What solution do you have for those of us who want the improved calmini bumper for no to minimal cost.

I too am angered. I bought an Xterra and the very next year they came out with a newer model.

Easy Steve already said he would look into retro fitting old style bumpers. I also have the old one but I do not expect Calmini to pay for my change if I decide to do it. Even if they told you they were not going to make one and then did anyway it wouldn't matter. If you liked the look bad enough back then you would have gotten the ARB. I liked the ARB look but Calmini's products are far better in quality than anything I have seen so far.

ARB owners who likes the Calmini design better now have a chance to advertise and sell your bumpers. I'm sure you'll find eager buyers of used winch bumbers if you'll offer a good deal.

BUT, I like the look of my original style Calmini bumper. I think it's unique and looks great. If I wanted an ARB I would have bought an ARB.

Trying to get an order of these things for the east coast. I don't need one, but I can get a good deal on shipping.

Who wants in? They will end up in the Charlotte area about a month after you order em, that is, if I can get someone to drive them to Rancho Cucamonga soon after they are fabbed. Shipping will be a lot cheaper than the quotes out of Calmini, not 280, not 220, more like $100 a piece.

Let me know if anyone is interested. I can get em delivered through work.

I would help you out with getting them down to Rancho Cucamunga. I'm about 130 miles from Bakersfield, in fact I've already been to the Calmini shop a couple of times. It was cheaper to just drive out there than pay for shipping. Just send me a few extra $$$ for gas and I can help you out.
