A dealership tried that in Denver, CO. The difference was, it was on a frontier, and it was maybe $2000 max in parts and they asked $4000 for that package. I don't know if they sold it, because it ended up getting hail damage. BUT, it could be a good idea to do something like that

Brent, at first glance I would agree with you... but the little placard says "Mud Terrain" and the tire itself says "Mud Terrain."

I would say that the New BFG MT is Krawler inspired. Look at the side wall/edge lugs and the patterns. Even with siping on the Krawlers (you can custom groove them) they don't match.

The new Mt has an alternating lug pattern, the Krawler seems to have a different/more complicated pattern.

Just my take on it...

The new BFG MT doesn't appear to have side wall lugs as aggressive as the old style. Definitely Krawler inspired. Maybe it's because lots of people want the Krawler tire but, they don't last long on the road.

Cool, a new Mud Terrain.
Sadly, it only comes in 20" wheel sizes laugh

I don't think they're the same tread as the current M/Ts, are they?

Muddy - no, they have a different tread pattern than the current design...

And - Seem to require 20" rims...

So - Running them is an expensive proposition, especially compared to inexpensive Baja Claws....which you could mount on the rims you already have.

I've got a set of 15" AR Outlaw rims I'm waiting to mount some tires on. Right now, I'm looking towards the Baja Claw, but I'm really liking the new tread pattern on the new BFG M/Ts.

Ya know what they look like?

They look like the tires on some of the new concept vehicles I've seen lately....like the new Jeep concept that looks like a box. Strange looking tires though.....they look like they'll work!

NIce to have more options. And the tread pattern is pretty sweet.
