This may be of interest to some folks out there that have an existing tire swingaway system. We need to confirm the over the tire rack for liftgate clearances, but for the immediate the can mount looks to fit very nice. I have offset rims on my X and my spare sits about 1-1/2" forward from the gate uprights. When I was still using my stock rims they sat right up against the uprights. Using offset rims will provide plenty of clearance for attachments. Can you provide brackets for the 2-1/2 gallon version of that gas can? I'm currently carrying 4 on my Confer rack.

Eddie - I just sent you a few more photo's w/ both cans and carriers mounted. They fit but some modifications were needed. Let me know what you think.
