I almost forgot about the pix we took before the tubes were tacked on - I think it looks pretty damned fine, even w/o the tubing.

Jim the bumper looks great. About shipping to Canada, try local 4X4 shops? Don't let ARB corner the market up here. Try Sports Trucks Unlimited in Surrey. PM me if you want me to look around. Competition is good.

There are just a few 4 X 4 shops here in southern Ontario. Simply put, they suck !!! terrible customer service, and delays in order placing...

It looks the same to me. I think the shadows and angle that the photo was taken may have played a part in what your eye is seeing !

It's 3/4" shorter. Just to make sure there are no tire rubbing issues with larger tires.

I just double checked the CAD file and the wrap around wings are actually 3/8" shorter near the tire than the other picture. Yes, this will be that way on on both models.
I think most of what you are seeing is that it looks like the main bumper sticks out further around the grill area on a 2000, but the bumper location is EXACTLTY the same on both relative to the frame and has not changed. The grill on the '02 just sticks forward about 3" further.
BTW, in case you are curious, it would not be possible to move the bumper back on the 2000. There would not be room for the winch.

If you compare both pictures, look at the relationship between the vertical seam just under the marker lights and the corner of the bumper. It's the same distance, just the plastic "nose" structure that's different.

Hey Jim,
I really like your new bumper. I noticed on a different thread that shipping was around $150 to a commercial address. Im assuming it is possible pick the bumper up myself.
Also how difficult is instalation. Would you recommend having someone else install it, and how much would you charge?

Sure, you can pick it up.
Nothing about it is very difficult. The most time consuming part it removing the stock bumper. Installing the new one is simple. You need a helper and a floor jack is very helpful for adjusting the fit.
If you want to remove the stock bumper before you come, I'll install it for free, or for $20 we'll do it start to finish.

I'm just a noobee, but I'll put my $.02 in. The way it looks on the older models makes me wish I had shopped used, just for this bumper - it looks amazing. However, I agree, for the newer body style the lines are not right - there's something just a tad troubling when looking at it. It almost seems as though you could flip the center tube over and fit the front grille lines just right. I now know what I want when I grow up! If further modifications are made to accommodate aesthetics for later models, I'll drive south and take you up on that installation offer - very generous of you!
