Is this going to be the same kit for the 05 frontier.

....when?[/b]It clearly states on the Calmini Website: 2005 lift, late summer 2005. California doesn't have winter or fall so it is still summer there. Front Winch Bumper, July 1 for $689.95 Rear Swing Tire Carrier, July 1 for $749.95 Sliders, July 1 for $289.95 2006 I assume.

Where's the lic. plate and light gonna go on the rear bunper? I am interested in the RB but the Maine authorities are tough on proper plate position and lighting.

If you look at their 1st Gen bumper you will see that it most likely meets DOT code for location and also incorporates a stock light from your bumper.

JeffW - you need to stop speculating in this thread and all the other ones... Whoa! Calm down. It was speculation and presented as such. Eric already chimed in with better information. I stand corrected. What's the big deal? Won't fit? not yet, anyway.... Back on topic: I'm glad it should come in cheaper than I thought.

I think the cost I was talking about included the things needed to add in addition to the kit itself to make it all work...for a SAS....For the first Gen X....not the IFS 2nd Gen X. IE: A SAS kit itself is one price...but you then have to find and buy a used D44, fix it up so you can trust it, match the gearing to what you need, including the rear gearing....etc. As far as I know, nothing has changed in that regard. Just to confuse the issue, I posted some of that in a thread discussing the 2nd Gen X 5" SL...which is probably the confusion now on price discussion, as both were in the same thread.
