Looks great! Great approach and departure angles. It seems that it has a few more parts underneath it than when I saw it in your parking lot. What size tires are those?

In case they don't log on, I was told they are 33" on a 17" rim!
I am on your list, send me a kit... but oops, I need an X first!

Schweeet. That winch bumper makes it look like a "normal" X again. I had to look twice to make sure it really was an '05. I guess the stock front bumper is what makes it look so goofy.

Very nice, excellent. I don't really care for the nose/bumper treatment myself, a little too "pointy" and chinless, but there are some benefits to the design and of course form follows function.
I'd rather see a bumper that tucks in tighter under the grille, which I think could be done without affecting the approach angle much, but that would eliminate one of the things I do like about the Calmini bumper, the ability to mount a wider variety of winches. Bet you could get an 8274 in there if it didn't have the tube across the top!
How do the sliders mount? If I recall correctly, the factory sliders mount to the body, not the frame, so there probably are not the handy holes and captured nuts on the frame rails to use like before.
Nice work guys!

As far as the sliders go, will we be able to modify our current sliders to mount to the 05 or will we need a new set?...

Why do you have to go and make me want a new X? i didnt like it till you came along ! Good looking stuff! could you guys fit bigger tires if you had wanted to? i think the front needs a little larger tire... maybe just smaller rim... more aggresive tire...

Very nice... No headlight guards? Or, do they get in a way of headlights if there are? Cool...

Thank you for all the feedback. Here are some other specification on the X. The suspension system is a full 5" spindle/drop crossmember lift. The tire on the X is a Toyo Open Country AT measuring 285/70/R17 (32.76 x 11.5). The rear fender well is the limiting factor as far as fitting a larger tire is concerned. The final slider design is still in the works but welding will more than likely be recommended for reinforcement. They do mount directly to the frame and the early model year units will not be adaptable. Alan, the Frontier kits are also in the works and we are also finishing up this same system on the 2005 Pathfinder. The graphics are painted and hand striped so removing them is not an option Here are some pictures of the rear swing away as requested. Keep the questions coming! CALMINI Products Inc. With your lift, what coil over coil shock combination are you using?
Have you guys started messing with spring rates and the coil overs yet?
