How would you be able to use the same disconnects for stock and lifted vehicles? Wouldn't that require a lonnger bar?

Rick, I don't think the longer disconnect would be a problem. They're 2" longer than stock. We can always make a shorter length center link. -Steve.

Steve, Photos of installed disconnect desired. I would like to see a couple pictures of the product installed. Maybe in the works, but trying to understand the installation.

Thanks, Todd

Yes......it would be really appreciated if anyone out there has some pictures of this product installed. I have a good idea of what is going on but some guidence would be helpful since no instructions were included with my order and i am not the greatest mechanic in the world. I think what is throwing me is the fact that these are longer than stock......how are they supposed to fit?

Thanks in advance if anyone out there can help.

CJ

Ask and ye shall receive.

All I had to do is pull down on the sway bar to get the extra length I needed.

Xman6,

Thanks! That is exactly what i was looking for. That is what I was going to do (yank down the bar to get the extra length) but just wanted to see if that was what others were doing.

I take it you have not had any problems with this setup so far? How has it performed for you?

Thanks again for the pictures.

I have a few questions:

1) What difference does the length of the uprights make? I have my bar on with 3+ inches of lift and the stock uprights and it seems to work fine. I don't see where the length of the uprights would matter as long as the uprights are still going pretty much straight up. Right?

2) What are folks doing with the main part of the swaybar when disconnected? Do they tie it up to something or do the ends just drag on the ground?

Honestly, I can't use them anyway because even disconnected the bar would get in the way of my Bilstien shock under offroad amounts of compression, but I was curious about how this works.

Most importantly; when is my steering system going to ship? laugh laugh laugh

Well true from what I can tell the length has nothing to do with it. They are longer to keep the bar from hitting the load leaf I believe. Also when disconnected the bar is very stiff and doesn't move or swing down like you would think. But it could be bungied for extra security.
