Well, as I suspected GOBI has produced a rock solid rack system for the Xterra!

Installed:

-GOBI Ranger (now called Hybrid) roof rack
-GOBI Axe/Shovel mount
-GOBI Pull-Pal Mount
-GOBI Rear Ladder (right side mount)
-Custom Lightbar (the GOBI one wouldn't work for the WARN lights used)
-Custom tent mounts w/accessory holes
-Custom side light mounts
-4X WARN dual mode lights
-2X PIAA 1500XT Sides
-2X PIAA 1500XT Rear

And the finished product:

Mods, you can move this if you want... I wasn't sure if I should post it here or in Parts.

No real info on GOBI, so I thought here was the best place.

Oh well!

Wolfman, the truck looks great, and the rack too. I'm jealous of your ability to go top of the line with all the mods you do.

What else could possibly be left? [Uh Oh !]

It's just a forest service road off the I5. I think it was called "Something Peak Overlook". It just took a chance on a random road (there are a ton of them), and it worked out.

Did you have to custom order the ladder, so that it fit on the right side? Their website shows them on the left. Also were any adjustments made so that it would fit behind your tire carrier?

You can order on the left or right (but you have to specify)

Had to mod the carrier slightly (small grinding), but Paul at Gobi has adjusted the ladder, so I don't think you have to anymore.

Not sure, I got cut a promo price.

Give them a call and they can give you the price. It isn't cheap, but worth it IMO.
