Looks like I'm moving back to San Diego in the middle of October. I got a very lucrative job offer to be the creative director and partner in my own advertising agency with some friends and it's too good an opportunity to pass up. We'll have to get together for some beers or something before I leave, but I have to bid farewell to our fledgling, little XTCHI!

You're lucky you're moving there from Hawaii. The islands are one of the few places so expensive that the cost of living in California won't blow you out of your shoes.

Congrats on the new job. San Diego is a beautiful place with many fun things to do.

LOTS of trails in SD, though! Not much muddin' to do, but tons of baja.....

Yeah, SD is old stomping grounds for me (I lived there for 12 years before I moved here), so I'm pretty familiar with what I'm getting into out there (like 100x better wheeling!)

Hawaii's been great, but SD isn't a bad place to have to go back to.
