I sent this to the newer people in the club, but everyone can join in. I'd actually appreciate help if some seasoned off roaders can make it!
When: Saturday at 11am-3pm is the agreed time.
How to get there: Take I-17 north to the Table Mesa exit (I believe it's exit 136) When you get off at the exit, go right and there is a parking area on the left. You'll see the Xterra's from the exit ramp.
What to bring: *Tire pressure gauge *FRS radio (you can get them pretty cheap at places like Wal-mart and will need one for Xcursions) *Cooler with drinks and a snack *Tow strap if you have one- I'll have mine hooked up all day, but just in case.
Don't bring: Your step rails! If you don't know how or don't have time to take them off, we can do it quicly at the trailhead-but you'll have to drive around with them in the back of your truck all day. What we'll be doing probably wouldn't damage them, but they're pretty flimsy, so just to make sure it would be better if they were off.
See ya on Saturday~ Bring your smiles!! Brian

Like my son says Daddy's got a "Big white truck!" I called it a car once and he corrected me promptly with that response.

We had a fun time! Attendee's: Travis & Misty (Misty drove great) Mark and Shannon (Shannon is a pro) Brian & Brenda (she didn't feel like driving) Steve and Daughter (great, but that damn clutch!) Jeff and friend Brett (Jeff is a longtime lurker who came out to play) Andy Bird (where the hell did you go?) Jeep Jeremy
Did some good river crossings, light rock crawling, mud bogs, the red off camber hill, big brown hill and EVERYONE made it up the dreaded white wall !!! First time for that~
Hope everyone had fun!

Everyone made it up the white wall?! I'm so ashamed with myself. I must beat that damn thing next time. Sorry I missed what sounds to have been a fun play day.

Yeah Ryan, I'm pretty sure you could have made it up. I think you've got pretty much the exact setup that I've got (tires/AAL's/sliders) and I didn't have much of a problem. Got stuck about 1/2 way up, but rolled back a little, gave it some gas, and zoom, I was up. Was fun at the top watching the Jeep try and come straight up the wall and almost flip over... All in a pretty fun day. Shannon had a blast driving. I'm going to have to go back again on my own so I can drive Thanks to Brian for setting things up and giving everyone such great instruction. Sorry guys, the guy who wanted to see my boat called just as we were leaving and wanted to come see it right away. Had to take off. I am up for a run anytime someone wants to go. Let me know.

Sounds like the day was a success, nice going Brian. Sorry I missed it but there is still that work thing I'm not sure why you're wondering what happened to Andy, one of the group cut out and didn't tell anyone? That wouldn't be a good thing when you're trying to teach newcomers how to wheel. Remind me to smack you up side the head next time I see you Andy

I wanted to thank everyone for the good time that was had yesterday. I had my first water crossing experience and I must say that all were very helpful. Hope to see you all soon at the next Xcursion. I have some pictures that I will send over to Brian (maybe to post on the website).
Thanks again!
Jeff (the "newbie")

Picky bunch aren't we. I'll change it to AZXC later.
The links may take a while to work as the site is hosted on 2 servers and the info transfers to the other every 2-4 hours.

Your forgiven since you stated Jeff "the newbie". [/b]That was weird. I'm in the middle of posting that the link still doesn't work, I open a new browser session so I can get a screen shot of what it says to post here (to show I'm not crazy, good luck) and boom, there is the page. Hmph, must be going nuts. It's a short drive, anyone want shotgun?
