So Firestone, who doesn't have the best track record with alignments on my X, told me that they can't get the cross castor into alignment because of my Calmini aftermarket steering system.

Should I believe them? They got everything else aligned apparently but said they couldn't get that right.

Thanks!

I think without having aftermarket UCA's it is unlikely that the steering system is at fault. The cross camber as far as I can tell is the camber of the tires which would be affected by wearing in the ball joints or the control arm bushings, neither of which looked excessively worn.

I think if it still pulls take it to another Firestone, like you had to before and see if they have the same exact finding. If they do, we can change out the bushings ect. as required.

Let me know what happens.

Go to Shumans in Tempe. They're well versed in aligning lifted Nissans.

I had the same trouble with Firestone, even with SLR UCA's. Shumans had no trouble at all.
