Insurance or warranty??

Insurance- Yes
Warranty- No

Where in AZ are you? Here in the AZ Xterra Club there are members who have done lifts if you need more input.

And its not like your whole warranty is void. Like, if you have a lift and your stereo breaks, it would still be covered.

Side question (one of my many dumb ones): Is it considered a lift if you have new AAL's that give you a few inches, and crank up your torsion bars in the front?

I'm really confused! Lifting your truck has absolutely NO effect on your auto insurance. You have to tell me where you got that information or why it is a concern, because inquiring minds want to know.

As far as warranty is concerned, it really depends on the dealership. MOST of the time they will still warranty everything that the lift doesn't effect. If you break a shock it likely won't be covered due to the ride height being changed, if you have a motor problem it would be covered since the lift doesn't change anything for the motor.

Mark, as to your question, it is commonly referred to as a "torsion lift" since it doesn't include control arms it is easily distinguished that way.
