Wasn't expecting the storm, had plans to go somewhere darker rather than in the middle of town this year to get some good lightening shots. Not to bad tho.

If you see something brewing up, come out west to the White Tanks, there's a great view looking east out over the valley. You can see it all from north to south.. The light pollution's tolerable too

The valley looks like it's gonna get nailed tonight! Storms to the North & East of us right now and Severe Weather warnings all over Rim country. Hoping it makes it into town to piss on some fireworks!

White Tanks are a 60 mile drive for me. I was thinking more like Fountain Hills / 4 Peaks area.
